It came as little surprise – especially given that most of the world’s top triathletes skipped the trip to Chile – but Jeanne Lehair delivered exactly what was expected of her, claiming a dominant win at the World Triathlon Cup Vina del Mar.

Held over the Sprint distance, the race quickly took shape on the bike, where a lead group of eight women emerged. Among them, Lehair stood out as the clear favorite, and from that moment on, it seemed only a matter of time before she would take control.

Once on the run, the Luxembourg athlete wasted no time asserting her dominance, pulling away within the opening meters and never looking back.

Lehair crossed the line in 56:12, comfortably ahead of Spain’s Sara Guerrero Manso, who finished second in 56:35. Venezuela’s Rosa Elena Martinez Melchor completed the podium in 57:11.
