T100 Dubai Results Removed: What Happens Next?

Did Mika Noodt just win the T100 Dubai… or not? This afternoon’s race delivered one of the most chaotic finishes we’ve seen in years. First Hayden Wilde, Marten Van Riel, and Mathis Margirier completed one lap too many on the bike, and later Morgan Pearson appeared to run an extra lap. Or did he? For now, all results have been removed from the official app as the PTO investigates what actually happened.

What is clear is that T100 Dubai became the most bizarre race in recent memory. Numerous athletes miscounted either the bike laps – eight were required – or the run laps – six in total. Whether this confusion was caused by the athletes themselves or by unclear communication from the organizers remains an open question. Stories from the course vary, with both sides pointing fingers, and it is still uncertain who completed the correct number of laps and who did not.

In the closing stages, Morgan Pearson seemed on his way to a commanding victory. But suddenly, the broadcast cut to Mika Noodt – running in second place – who crossed the line first, visibly stunned to find himself the winner. The assumption at the time was that Pearson had run an extra lap, dropping him to 11th at the finish.

However, GPS data from several athletes who unexpectedly finished ahead of Pearson show run totals of roughly 15 kilometers – three kilometers short of the required 18. That distance aligns precisely with one run lap missing, not one extra.

The PTO has now placed the results under formal review and removed them from the app pending clarification. Further information is expected soon.
