Get your indoor trainer ready: Challenge Family and Rouvy have officially announced a new weekly event series starting tomorrow, Friday, March 20. The ‘Challenge Family Friday Ride’ series allows athletes to experience iconic race courses from the comfort of their own homes.
Race the World from Your Living Room
The rides are scheduled twice every Friday to accommodate athletes across different time zones, taking place at 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM (CET).
The series kicks off tomorrow with a 38-kilometer segment of the legendary Challenge Roth course. To keep the series interactive, Challenge Family will use its social media channels to let the community vote on which global race courses should be featured in the coming weeks.
Real Routes, Real Feel
While many athletes are familiar with Zwift, Rouvy offers a distinct experience by utilizing high-quality, real-life footage of actual roads. This “augmented reality” approach allows triathletes to scout the exact terrain of upcoming races, including Challenge Family events, Ironman courses, and famous cycling classics.
