It was quite an adjustment for the athletes when, shortly before the race, it turned out that the municipality had banned swimming at the Torremolinos beach. Consequently, instead of a 750-meter swim, a 2.5-kilometer run was held – before the 20-kilometer bike ride and another 5-kilometer run.
Ultimately, it was Louis Vitiello and Ambre Grasset who secured the victory at the Europe Triathlon Cup Torremolinos. Below are the top ten results for both the men’s and women’s races.
