Tomorrow, Norway’s Kristian Blummenfelt will battle for the hometown honor of winning the first World Triathlon Cup in Bergen, where both triathlon talent Blummenfelt as well as Gustav Iden grew up. There’s one thing certain: Blummenfelt will ride one of the most special bikes out there. As the reigning Olympic and double – Ironman and World Triathlon – World Champion, all eyes will be on Blummenfelt. Giant decided to make good use of that by pimping “Big Blu’s” bike.
Blummenfelt shares a photo of his new bike, saying: “Just two more days before we jump into the harbor in the background. Super stocked to be able to race at home. Tough and technical course. By the way: from 1 to 10, how do you rate this new custom design bike?” Check out the photos below to decide how you would rate it.
It’s not the first time that Blummenfelt shows off his bike. A few months ago – before the Ironman World Championship in St. George – Blummenfelt received quite some attention for his new Cadex TT-bike. It wasn’t all positive then, because many people weren’t too fond of the special design.
