Jan Frodeno is making his comeback in the 2023 season after a considerable period of injury and thus absence, and immediately puts a huge amount of pressure on himself. This year he is aiming for the Ironman European Championship in Hamburg as well as the Ironman World Championship in Nice. In addition, he will be competing in Ironman 70.3 Oceanside and the PTO European Open (which has yet to be announced, ed.). Of course, Frodeno has yet to qualify for the World Championships in Nice, which he hopes to do in Hamburg.
