Zwift Brings Back The Big Spin for 2026 – And the Rewards Are Bigger Than Ever

Zwift Big Spin

As the early-season training miles stack up, Zwift is adding a fresh dose of motivation to the indoor grind with the return of The Big Spin.

Running from March 16 to April 6, the four-stage tour once again unfolds across Watopia, blending social riding with a prize-driven format that continues to resonate with endurance athletes – triathletes included.

Spin to Win

Each stage concludes with a spin of a 12-segment prize wheel featuring new unlocks for 2026. Among the headline additions are four fresh kits, the eye-catching MX RIDER bike, and a selection of playful accessories including the Big Spin Tri-Spoke wheel, Fuego Flats Cowboy Hat and Jungle Headphones.

There’s no limit to how many times a rider can complete a stage, meaning athletes determined to collect the full set can keep rolling – a clever incentive during a period of the season when consistency is key.

Mystery Spinners Add an Extra Layer

New for 2026, Zwift has introduced “Mystery Spinners” hidden throughout Watopia. From February 27, riders can hunt down eight treasure chests containing unlocks from previous Big Spin editions – a nod to long-time participants and an opportunity for newcomers to expand their virtual garage.

The 2026 Stages

This year’s route selection offers a balanced mix of flatter efforts and rolling terrain, well suited to controlled tempo work or steady aerobic sessions:

  • Stage 1: Desert Discovery – Flat Out Fast (21.4km / 46m elevation)
  • Stage 2: Hidden Temple – Mayan San Remo (21km / 219m)
  • Stage 3: Lost Coast Adventure – Southern Coast Cruise (26.3km / 147m)
  • Stage 4: Sand & Sequoias – Sand & Sequoias (20.1km / 175m)

Structured as a social tour, group rides depart hourly, though riders can also tackle stages on demand — ideal for triathletes juggling swim blocks, strength sessions and outdoor rides.
