Her first world title, winning the European Championship Ironman 70.3 in Elsinore, a succesfull debut at the short distance with a fifth place at the World Triathlon Championship Series in Leeds, second in the Super League Triathlon Arena Games London, and finishing second in the Olympic qualification trial for 1500 meters freestyle… 2021 was a special year for Britain’s Lucy Charles.
