The upcoming World Triathlon Championship Finals are set for Edmonton, Canada in 2021 and Abu Dhabi in 2022. The Championship Finals traditionally brings over 5,000 athletes from countries across the globe, while also hosting the annual World Triathlon Congress that attracts delegates from up to 173 countries together to map out the future of the sport.

The new World Triathlon Sprint and Relay Championships, which will debut this year in Bermuda, is also open for bids in 2023 and 2024. The 2022 event will be in Montreal, Canada. This championship is set to bring thousands of athletes together to compete at a world class level within their discipline.

World Triathlon is also looking for host cities for the 2024 edition of the World Triathlon Multisport Championships.

Taking place over approximately 10 days, the World Triathlon Multisport Championships includes a variety of world championship events including duathlon, cross-triathlon, aquathlon, and long-distance triathlon.

The 2021 Edition of the event is set for September 3 – 12 in Almere, Netherlands, with 2022 hosted in Townsville, Australia and 2023 in Ibiza, Spain.
