Patrick Lange crashes during training camp, misses Challenge Salou and World Championships St. George

As Patrick Lange aptly describes it himself, this was not the way he wanted to end his training camp in Spain. A hard crash caused serious damage to his shoulder joint and the German former World Champion and reigning Challenge Roth champion is therefore not able to race for the time being. Logically that ruins his race plans and his race calendar.

Lange would start at Challenge Salou, where no less than eighty professional athletes will race and where Lange belonged to one of the favorites. The IM World Championship in St. George was also on his schedule, but he will skip that race as well. No wonder, because next week Lange will undergo surgery in Munich and then he will be out of action for eight to ten weeks.
