Tough times for Strava: fifteen percent of employees will lose job

Strava

Strava may have 100 million users – the vast majority of whom do not have a paid account though – but the online platform is not doing very well: in the near future, some 15 percent of the employee base will be fired. That means some 40-60 employees will be laid off, so reports the website Bicycle Retailer.

Strava itself did not comment, but the rumors had been circulating for some time already. Strava has offices in Bristol, Dublin, San Francisco and Denver and has around 400 employees.

Strava has around 100 million users, many of whom upload daily activities. These workouts are shared with friends and family.
