After Jan Frodeno ended his career as a professional athlete in September following his finish at the Ironman World Championships in Nice, the German who is considered by many to be the Greatest of all Time (GOAT, has yet to win another honorary title. This weekend he was put in the spotlight in Frankfurt during the Deutscher SportpresseBall when he was named ‘Legend of Sport’.
The Deutscher SportpresseBall is a gala evening where luminaries from the world of sports, as well as well-known politicians, businessmen and media personalities come together. For some moments, Frodeno was the center of all attention. “It was an honor to be recognized for a life dedicated to triathlon.”
