Caleb Noble had to sprint to the very last meter to secure the win at the Mooloolaba Triathlon. In the women’s race, the win went to an unleashed Richelle Hill.

The race – very popular in Oceania – was marked by pretty harsh weather conditions, but so that could not stop Caleb Noble from a top performance. He finished the race in a time of 1:45:53, staying a few inches ahead of Charlie Quin, who finished second in the same time. Kurt McDonald complemented the podium, finishing third in 1:47:26.

In the women’s race, the win thus went to Richelle Hill, who gave her competitors no chance to come close. Finishing after 1:56:51, she had to wait a few minutes before Lotte Wilms took second in 2:00:59. The bronze was for Emily Donker, who finished after 2:06:35.
