For a long time it looked like Alistair Brownlee would win the PTO T100 race in Miami, but in the closing stages the Briton dropped back completely and it was Magnus Ditlev, who had a perfect build-up to his race, who ran to victory. It was by no means an easy day for him. “A stellar field and some great racing in very tricky conditions made for a tough day out there.”

“I’m super stoked to take the win in Miami for the first ever T100 race. What a way to kick off the new season. Congrats to Sam Long for a great race and Pac-Man raid all the way up to second and to Mathis Margirier for third place with a fantastic race from the front.

“To my team and everyone cheering and supporting: I’m very grateful for the support and happy to be able to give you a win and great start to the season. Can’t’ wait for the next one.”
