Jasmin Paris made history last weekend by becoming the first woman ever to complete the Barkley Marathons. The ultrarun, which is considered the toughest in the world, has had only 20 finishers since its first edition in 1989, of whom no fewer than five crossed the line this year, including Paris. When she crossed the finish line after more than 160 kilometers through inhospitable terrain – you can read all about this bizarre event here – she only had 1:39 minute left.
