The World Triathlon Cup season concluded in Florianópolis with a commanding display from Spain’s elite women, who swept the podium in decisive fashion. In a race marked by a relatively open field and plenty of tactical opportunity, the Spanish trio left little doubt about their form. In the men’s race, Spain also ended on top.

Sara Guerrero Manso delivered the breakthrough performance of the day, seizing her first-ever World Triathlon Cup victory in a time of 59:33. Close behind, Marta Pintanel Raymundo charged in for second at 59:39, while the experienced Miriam Casillas García secured third in 59:51, sealing a fully Spanish podium drenched in red and yellow.

While the women’s race showcased Spain’s depth, the men’s field followed a similar script – at least with a winner. David Cantero Del Campo powered to victory in 53:26, edging out France’s Igor Dupuis (53:29) and Portugal’s Miguel Tiago Silva (53:36).
