With three weeks to go until the Collins Cup, the PTO has now announced which 24 athletes are the ‘automatic qualifiers’. This group of athletes is qualified based on points and can be found – per team – in the picture below. Later this week a “captain’s pick” will be added per team; the team coach may then add another athlete himself.
Several athletes have expressed their disappointment to Triathlon Today about the PTO and the fact that the selections are only announced now, as this made it difficult for them to plan their training and competition schedule.
