The 20th anniversary of Ironman Wisconsin will be celebrated sooner than expected. While the race was originally planned for September 2022, the date was changed to Jun. 19, 2022. This year’s event will still take place on Sep. 12, 2021.
“We’re proud of the legacy that has been built over the last 20 years here in Madison,” said Keats McGonigal, Vice President of Operations for The Ironman Group in North America. “Anyone that has raced here over the years can attest to the unforgettable experience that racing in the capital city of Wisconsin provides. There isn’t much better of a venue to host a mid-summer race than Madison; and we know this new June date will continue to showcase one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the Midwest.”
Registration for Ironman Wisconsis opens on Aug. 16, 2021.
