After so many months with very few races, many pro triathletes are eager to finally compete again. Proof of that comes when checking the latest announcements from Challenge Miami. It might be a brand-new event, but the race set to take place on Homestead-Miami Speedway (Mar. 12, 2021), will have an incredibly strong lineup.

Yesterday and today Challenge Miami added ten more names to the already long list: Jackie Hering (USA), Sam Appleton (AUS), Lesley Smith (USA), Thomas Davis (GBR), Fenella Langridge (GBR), Magnus Elbaek Ditlev (DEN), Alissa Doehla (USA), Jackson Laundry (CAN), Taylor Reid (CAN) and Lauren Brandon (USA).

Earlier announcements

With Lionel Sanders (CAN), Paula Findlay (CAN), Anne Haug (GER), Ben Hoffman (USA), Sarah Crowley (AUS), Skye Moench (USA), Rudy von Berg (USA), Timothy O’Donnell (USA), Carrie Lester (AUS) and Matt Hanson (USA), already confirmed, there is set to be a big and competitive field at Challenge Family’s newest event in the United States.

“Keep a close watch”

Challenge Miami isn’t yet done with the “name-droping,” either.

“Keep a close watch, you never know who we will announce next,” the organization says.
