With the complete British Mixed Relay team present at the Super League Triathlon (SLT) in London, it promises to be an exciting battle on Sep. 5, 2021. The Olympic gold medalists – Jonathan Brownlee, Jessica Learmonth, Alex Yee and Georgia Taylor-Brown – have confirmed to race on home soil for the upcoming SLT-event, which is part of the full SLT Championship Series program in September, also including Munich (Sep. 12), Jersey (Sep. 18) and Malibu (Sep. 25).

It will be the athlete’s first race within the UK after the Tokyo Olympics. Yee and Taylor-Brown both managed to earn a silver medal in the individual race too, bringing the total number of medals that were earned by Great Britain in triathlon to three.

Spectators will be allowed to watch the SLT-race from the sideline and support their favorite athletes during this short and fast event. The Championship Series kick off in London with SLT’s Triple Mix format, meaning athletes will do a short triathlon in different order throughout three different stages. Starting in stage one with swim-bike-run, then run-bike-swim in stage two and the finale stage will consist a bike-swim-run. The distances per discipline will be the same in each stage: 300 meters of swimming, 1000 meters of cycling and 800 meters of running.
