Estonia’s Rait Ratasepp has set another record on his journey to 60 full-distance triathlons in 60 consecutive days. This time he’s broken France’s Ludovic Chorgnoni’s record for 41 full-distance tris in 41 straight days – by almost 83 hours!

Chorgnoni managed the 41 straight efforts in 533 hours and 41 mins. Ratasepp got there in 451:01:06 and was thrilled with the day.

“Day 41 was a turning point for me,” he said. “I was so motivated to get to the next level with my challenge and to conquer one of my main goals. Day 41 was full of records – new world record, the fastest day in my challenge (finish time 10:28:07) and the best marathon time of all 413:05:53.”

The following day Ratasepp hit another milestone – getting his average for each full-distance under 11 hours (10:59:50).

“I should have been on the schedule for less than 11 hours already on the day 15, but I was hit by the car and my bike was destroyed. It cost me about ten hours of time. It took almost four weeks to make up for the lost time,” Ratasepp said.
