He won the Israman 113 with a 6-minute lead, crashed with 100 meters to go, lost his shoe, but still felt like sprinting towards the finish in the final kilometers. Israel’s Roee Zoarets was on fire last Friday, and there was nothing stopping him from winning the Israman Middle Distance event.
