Records are there to be broken and especially when that happens with world records, it is spectacular. During the 10K Fasca Castelló we enjoyed it again, because Ethiopian Yalemzerf Yehualaw just crushed the 10km (road) world record: 29:14 minutes.

That time represents an average speed of 20.52 kilometers per hour and an average kilometer time of 2:55 minutes. Yehualaw, a runner who specializes in the ten kilometers and half marathon, had been chasing the world record for some time and succeeded today during the always popular Fasca Castelló run.
