Working from home is the new reality for many people – at least much more often than we were used to – and with that comes a new realization for many people that health is very important. More exercise is a logical consequence, and sometimes funny ideas are coming up thanks to that. 24-year-old Kristen Hollingshaus Seninger – very active on TikTok – even walked a marathon during her eight-hour workday.
A year ago, Hollingshaus already bought a treadmill for under her desk so she could keep walking while working. Earlier, she revealed to Runner’s World US. “I don’t like sitting in my chair for eight hours straight. So I wanted to add the treadmill to my routine. I wanted to see if it would improve my lifestyle.”
It did, because she said her mood improved and she had fewer energy dips during her work days. This fall she did go all the way, as she started her workday at 8:15 a.m., but at the same time she was walking a marathon. At 4:40 p.m. she finished both working and walking.
