While European athletes competing in this year’s World Championships Ironman 70.3 have to travel quite a distance – to Taupo, New Zealand it is – next year it will be totally different. That’s because for the first time in its history, the IM 70.3 World Championship will land in Marbella, Spain.
Spain has a rich tradition of hosting European Championships and World Championships Championships, but this is the first time the IM World Championships 70.3 will be held in Spain. The races are scheduled for Nov. 8 and 9, 2025. On Saturday (Nov. 8) the women will compete, while a day later (Nov. 9) the men will compete.
