In a week and a half from now, the Ironman World Championship (for men) will take place on Kona. A total of 2,480 athletes will race and battle for world titles, with America supplying the most athletes.
America is the strongest represented country with 637 athletes, followed by Germany with 266 participants. After America and Germany it’s Australia (182), France (159), Great Britain (138), Spain (86), Canada (83), Brazil (80) and Belgium (64), among others.
