After two intense days of racing – with semifinals on Saturday and finals on Sunday – Hungary’s Csongor Lehmann and Germany’s Lisa Tertsch claimed victory at the World Triathlon Cup Tiszaujvaros.

Lehmann, the hometown favorite, put on a dominant display in front of a passionate local crowd, crossing the finish line in 51:51, a full 21 seconds ahead of France’s Igor Dupuis. Fellow Hungarian Márk Dévay rounded out the men’s podium, finishing 32 seconds behind Lehmann.

In the women’s race, Lisa Tertsch continued her strong run of form with a narrow win in 57:26. She was closely followed by Belgium’s Jolien Vermeylen – fresh off her recent victory at the Europe Triathlon Cup Holten – who took second in 57:32. Sweden’s Tilda Mansson claimed third in 57:42, completing a tightly contested podium.

Tertsch’s victory reinforces her status as one of the most consistent and in-form athletes on the circuit, while Lehmann’s commanding win at home was a moment of national pride for the Hungarian fans.
