He may have been retired for some time, but Jan Frodeno remains deeply embedded in the triathlon world and its community. As of today, the Olympic and Long Distance legend has added a new role to his résumé: podcaster. The first episode of his brand-new podcast, Frodeno Going Mental, is now live – and it features none other than Alistair Brownlee as the inaugural guest.

According to Frodeno, his 21-year career as a professional athlete gave him a clear understanding of what ‘mental strength’ really means. But how do you build resilience when the rules are constantly changing? That question forms one of the central themes of the new podcast, which is set to release weekly episodes.

Throughout the series, Frodeno will sit down with athletes, artists, and entrepreneurs ‘who know what it feels like to hit the edge and sometimes go way past it. Physically, mentally, emotionally’.
