While Britain’s Kat Matthews took the place of fellow Brit Lucy Charles in the women’s Project Sub8, for Sub7 it’s still Britain’s Alistair Brownlee and Norway’s Kristian Blummenfelt who are all in to try and ‘make the impossible possible’ on Jun. 5-6. While Brownlee tries to keep things as much as a secret as he can, he shares some insights – like how to pace and be aerodynamic in a group on the TT bike – in his build up towards the Sub7 attempt. “I said, ‘keep it all as confidential as we kind of can in the real world’… because we don’t want the pesky Norwegians finding out what exactly we’re doing.”
