We’re pretty sure most of you already know that long-distance athletes don’t just do longer, endurance-oriented training, but also do some high-intensity intervals. That becomes even more obvious after seeing Sebastian Kienle’s video, posted on his social network accounts. The German pro pushes his limits in a set of eight times twenty seconds on his indoor trainer, followed by some strength excersises: “Even for long-distance triathlon, training is not always long. 8*20sek max on the bike followed by some squats with the legs screaming can cause a pretty rewarding feeling afterwards,” Kienle writes.
