Captured in images: Mixed Relay at Tokyo Olympics

It was team Great Britain – consisting of Jessica Learmonth, Jonathan Brownlee, Georgia Taylor-Brown and Alex Yee – that took gold during the inaugural Olympic Mixed Relay event. Team America took home the silver medal and team France was rewarded with bronze after their strong race in Tokyo. Let’s enjoy this spectacular short and fast event, in which each of a country’s four athletes had to swim 300 meters, bike 6.8 km and run 2000 meters, through some beautiful photos:
