Captured in images: women’s race Tokyo Olympics

While the men enjoyed a sunny race on Monday, the women had to deal with a lot of rain and wind for their race in Tokyo. But Flora Duffy didn’t let anything stop her – the Bermudan ran to an impressive gold medal. Britain’s Georgia Taylor-Brown won a silver medal despite suffering a flat tire in the final km before T2. America’s Katie Zaferes was back in the game after being off form during her last few races and earned a bronze medal by finishing third.
