It’s not rare to see athletes swimming on top of each other, or accidentally hitting each other during the swim leg of a triathlon. Something that is rarer, fortunately, is athletes hitting each other on purpose. During last weekend’s Dutch National Championship Standard Distance, someone captured that kind of aggression. In the video below, you can see how one of the athletes got too close to his competitor, prompting the other athlete to get angry. Focus on the bottom part of the video, it starts at 30 seconds.
