A great new addition to the Hep sports team: Gustav Iden, the current world’s number one on the Long Distance. The Norwegian Ironman 70.3 World champion will join the German team, that’s build around athletes like Sebastian Kienle, Maurice Clavel and Daniel Baekkegard, in the 2022 season.
Hep is a company that is specialized in the development, building, operation, and financing of solar energy, and therefor has a strong focus on sustainability. That translates into their slogan, which is “there is no planet B”.
“Honored to announce that I will race in Hep green from now on”, Iden stated on Instagram. “Sport is difficult because it’s all about performance on race day without thinking too much about what’s going on around us. But it’s getting harder and harder to ignore the changes going on, and I’m now in a position where I can choose my partners to try to have a positive impact on our planet. Hep’s slogan is ‘there is no planet B’, and that’s something I really get behind. I’m hopeful that together we can do whatever it takes.”
