It is a development we have come to know from Hyrox, but within the triathlon world, it is something new: Supertri is charging an admission fee for spectators at its upcoming race, Supertri Blenheim Palace, which takes place this coming weekend.

That is correct: if you want to watch the race on-site, you will have to pay for it as a spectator. An admission ticket gives you access to – among other things – the swim in the Queen Pool, the start and finish zones, and immediate access to the Blenheim Palace estate itself, which normally requires an entry fee anyway. Additionally, the paid ticket grants access to the event village, featuring catering, booths from various triathlon brands, and entertainment.

Supertri is organizing a new format this year, where three races – for both professional athletes and Age Groupers – lead up to a Supertri Pro Series Final, where athletes will ultimately compete for a prize purse of no less than 800,000 dollars.
