“Threw myself into the deep in at National ITT Champs and left it all out on course. What a day! Bike racing is hard… so much respect for these classy athletes! Huge thank you to super coach Pete Richards for encouraging me to try something new and helping me see numbers I’ve never seen before! Excited for what’s to come this season. Thank you also to Zacy Collins for following in the car behind and for being in my ear the whole way on the radio, offering advice and encouragement and being a general Chatty Cathy. A very new experience for me. I think I’ll stick to triathlon though, so head down now in the lead-up to 70.3 Tasmania in 4 weeks.”
