It was a rough couple of months for Alistair Brownlee, as the British star triathlete struggled with some massive injuries. It even forced him to miss the Pho3nix Sub7 attempt. Brownlee wasn’t present at the Ironman World Championship in St. George, either, due to illness. But – finally – the champion is back in action. The Professional Triathletes Organisation just announced that his name will be a late addition to the already impressive start list.

This upcoming Saturday and Sunday, we will see some of the best triathletes in the world battle at the first race of the new PTO Tour: the PTO Canadian Open. For more information, click here.
