42,000 likes were needed to get Mathieu van der Poel to compete in an Ironman, and now the likes already rises over 60,000: the promise Mathieu van der Poel made to YouTube-star Average Rob is thus gaining momentum, and so now the world-class cyclist – world champion on the road and in the cyclo-cross discipline among others – can’t really go back.
In a recent video by Average Rob – who recently completed his first Long Distance – both Rob and Van der Poel are riding the mountainbike together. In doing so, Van der Poel promises that if the video gets more than 42,000 likes, he and Average Rob – and also his brother Arno The Kid – will compete in an Ironman. At this moment, the number of likes has already well passed that 42,000 mark.
