With four of the world’s best athletes toeing the line at this weekend’s Super League Triathlon Malibu, it seems like we’re set for a beautiful race. Olympic champions Kristian Blummenfelt (NOR) and Flora Duffy (BER) plus Ironman 70.3 World champions Gustav Iden (NOR) and Lucy Charles (GBR), will give it their all upcoming Saturday in the short and fast Eliminator format.
After three races in September – London, Munich and Jersey – the Super League Triathlon team takes off for Malibu for the final race of the SLT Championship. In the women’s race, Britain’s Jessica Learmonth has been dominating the ranking by winning all three events. In the men’s race, the battle for the win is much more exciting with three different winners in three different races: the first race – London – was won by Hayden Wilde (AUS), during SLT Munich Vincent Luis (FRA) showed to be the strongest man, and in Jersey it was Alex Yee (GBR) who took the day.
